Birstall Parish Council are advertising for two new part time posts for when the new Community Hall at Hallam Fields is complete and available to hire out.
They are looking to appoint two motivated and flexible part time employees to provide cleaning and caretaker duties.

Birstall Parish Council are extremely pleased to be able to inform residents that the building of the long-awaited community hall on Hallam Fields is underway. It is hoped that the building will be completed in September 2019 and be ready to hire very soon afterwards.
A 'groundbreaking' ceremony to celebrate the first day of construction for the building project took place in April 2019.

Charnwood Borough Council currently has a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) in place which runs from January 2017 to January 2020.

Contractors Danaher & Walsh (Civil Engineering) Ltd have informed the Clerk that the bridleway improvements works are completed and it will be fully re-opened today.
There is a direct link from Wanlip to The Cedars academy, Park & Ride and the Hallam Fields housing development over the new footbridge, they also offered their apologies for any inconvenience during the construction.
