There's a new Bank in town..........

The Parish Council are overwhelmed with the response that this new installation has received, the bank has only been installed for one month and it's full, we have called the relevant body to come and empty it. Well done to all have contributed, please keep the good work going for this worthy cause. for more information about this please read the initial news item below.

The Parish Council received an enquiry from the Air Ambulance service to install a recycling clothing bank on their premises to help them to raise funds for the Air Ambulance Service.

Every day of the year, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance and Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance are helping to save more lives.

Their critical care paramedics, trauma doctors and pilots fly an average of three rescue missions per service per day, delivering lifesaving care within minutes to those in greatest need.

Each mission costs £1,700 and the charity receives no government funding, they rely solely on public donations.

The Parish Council were pleased and proud to be able to assist with the fundraising for this valuable and worthy cause and agreed a space central to the village on the Sibson Road car park.

The Air Ambulance Service entirely operate the recycling service, the banks are emptied and maintained by them and 100% of the proceeds raised from the sale of these items goes directly back into the charity.
